This training course is designed to provide you with the skills to undertake rescues from height using the ‘Lyon SynergyTM Pick-Off Rescue Kit’. The rescue kit is adaptable and so enables rescues from various locations and scenarios.

For example:

  • Rescue from a mobile fall arrest device when using a vertical flexible anchorage line
  • Rescue from energy absorbing lanyards
  • Rescue from work-positioning lanyards when either in a standing position against a structure or in suspension

We will provide you with a broad understanding of the uses and limitations of the equipment and the working techniques involved. During the course you will be taught to use the rescue equipment in a strictly controlled manner, always under the supervision of your trainer. Once the basics are covered, your training will progress onto realistic scenario-based ‘incidents’ within our purpose built training area.
