A long, long time ago Lyon started making tough, no-nonsense tackle bags for cavers. Since then the range has grown to accommodate the work at height industry, Emergency Services, military and outdoor professionals. Lyon bags are manufactured ‘in-house‘ at our premises in Tebay, Cumbria and we keep large stocks of our key products on the shelf to ensure the best possible delivery times.

To set a benchmark in the supply and manufacture of equipment bags, in 2017 Lyon Equipment separated its Lyon branded products into three distinct categories within our General Range plus a specialist Rescue Range.
These categories cover all bags we manufacture including our vast range of bespoke items.
Why do we do this? We recognised that people use our bags for a wide variety of tasks. We wanted to enable them to make the right choice by giving them clear information on what our bags are designed for and capable of.

Bespoke Design Bags

As well as our standard bags we are able to offer a bespoke service for customers who have specific, unique requirements. Our manufacturing facility is set up to allow rapid prototyping and turnaround of small and medium sized production runs and with our experience we may be able to offer helpful suggestions to ensure you get the product you need. We are also able to heat transfer your own company logo and information onto many of our Lyon bags.
