Emergency Casualty Care For Work At Height And Rescue Training Course

 

The Course

The work at height sector incorporates a diverse range of activities and processes and therefore the range of hazards and risks varies greatly. This course is designed for those working in lower risk workplace environments or in support of designated individuals holding the more comprehensive First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification required by higher risk activities.

Course Content

Emergency First Aid at Work content includes essential adult emergency life-saving skills tailored to the work at height environment: CPR and use of the AED (defibrillator) are covered. This course is delivered in association with Nuco Training by our Nuco approved instructors.

Assessment

Assessment during the course is by completion of practical tasks and continual monitoring by Lyon Instructors.

Certification

A nationally regulated First Aid Awards Level 3 (SQA Lev 6) Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate valid for three years from date of assessment will be awarded on successful completion of the course.
