Basket Stretcher Bridle Sets
Connecting a rescue stretcher to a hauling or lowering system is more than just tying a knot into the end of the rope. With increasingly complex recoveries now possible, the need to provide a secure connection to the stretcher is essential.
Using experience gained from years of involvement in mountain, cave and industrial rescues, we have developed a range of stretcher bridles that meet this need and can be tailored to suit a variety of basket shaped rescue stretchers.
- Made from 11mm diameter sewn terminated rope for strength and resilience
- Aluminium alloy captive oval shape connectors fitted for stretcher connection
- Maillon Rapide delta shape quick link connectors join each leg pair
- WLL - 272kg (4 point lift), 136kg (2 point lift)
> Lifting Bridle: A basic four leg configuration consisting of two Y bridles, suitable for horizontal lifting and lowering from a focal point
> Auxiliary Lifting Bridle: Two additional Y bridles for use in two attendant systems where three operational ropes are deployed. A single Y bridle may be used for vertical stretcher orientation operations
> Edge Transition Bridle: Additional extra-long Y shaped bridle that connects into the lower third of the stretcher to allow pivoting of the stretcher over a 90° edge.
