The Restricted Access Stretcher was developed specifically for the difficult conditions experienced during restricted access rescue.
The three quarter length stretcher has options for either a reclined or seated casualty position for suspension evacuation, or completely flat for movement through restricted spaces.

• A deep wrap-around shape provides increased impact protection for critical head and torso areas
• Manoeuvring handle cut-outs allow for ease of use and a snag-free skid base for sliding over flooring and machinery
• Colour coded, quick release chest and leg straps as well as extra-long harness straps to enable effective positioning and connection in difficult locations
• Robust, pre-fitted adjustable rope bridle with a captive attachment ring and twist lock connectors
• Four point attachment for connection to vertical lifting, lowering or suspension systems
• Suspension points convert to rope loop handles for dragging and manoeuvring the stretcher around obstructions.

The MacInnes MK6 Stretcher is one of a family of Lyon Manufactured stretchers.
Designed over 50 years ago by Hamish MacInnes and developed continuously ever since, the MacInnes Stretcher maintains its position as one of the most reliable, lightweight mountain stretchers for British winter conditions.

Connecting a rescue stretcher to a hauling or lowering system is more than just tying a knot into the end of the rope. With increasingly complex recoveries now possible, the need to provide a secure connection to the stretcher is essential.
Using experience gained from years of involvement in mountain, cave and industrial rescues, we have developed a range of stretcher bridles that meet this need and can be tailored to suit a variety of basket shaped rescue stretchers.

• Made from 11mm diameter sewn terminated rope for strength and resilience

Our bridles include:

• Lifting Bridle: A basic four leg configuration consisting of two Y bridles, suitable for horizontal lifting and lowering from a focal point
• Auxiliary Lifting Bridle: Two additional Y bridles for use in two attendant systems where three operational ropes are deployed. A single Y bridle may be used for vertical stretcher orientation operations
• Edge Transition Bridle: Additional extra-long Y shaped bridle that connects into the lower third of the stretcher to allow pivoting of the stretcher over a 90° edge.

A lightweight stretcher wheel set designed to fit on most stretchers. A combination of aluminium alloy and stainless steel gives a strong but lightweight construction. Adjustments in the width mean that most stretchers should securely fit to the frame. Simple cam lock straps give versatile robust attachments to solid locations on the stretcher. This is ideal if you have multiple stretchers in your team or if you sometimes work with other teams’ stretchers, the wheel set will still fit. The use of a mountain bike wheel means that consumable parts are easy to replace and compatible with standard puncture repair kits and bike pumps. Big diameter wheel and tire are the perfect compromise between ability to roll over lumps and bumps and the stability of the stretcher.

The Stretcher Support Harness has been developed for rescue teams working in remote environments where long, arduous extractions are common.
The harness has been ergonomically designed to share the load of carrying a stretcher

• Allows the loads placed upon it to be shared between the hands, hips and shoulders
• Fitted with two stretcher handle support loops that can be easily adjusted to transfer a portion of the load from the hands ans arms to the user;s shoulders and hips
• Support loops may be completely opened to enable fitting around stretchers hand-guards via the high quality AUSTRAILPIN double action buckles
• One size, with separate user adjustments for back length, waist size and arm length

The use of vehicles as a temporary anchor is sometimes necessary, especially for industrial or rescue personnel working in remote locations.
This high visibility steering wheel cap slips on over the wheel and provides an instant reminder to drivers that the vehicle is temporarily out of service and should not be moved.
Easily folded down to glove box size for storage its generous 450 mm width allows rapid fitment to most vehicle types including those with larger than standard steering wheels such as 4 x 4’s.

The 1.5 x 2.0 m Hi-Viz orange panel of heavy duty, waterproof material has a multitude of uses.
Using its sewn in webbing loops the sheet can be pegged out to provide a visual marker for gear dumps, rigging focal points, casualty sites or even helicopter support.
Users have found that placed under hauling systems or moving pulleys the sheet helps prevent grass, twigs and gravel from damaging equipment or blocking their action, ideal in USAR or cliff top environments.

Folded down the Dump Sheet is 250 mm x 200 mm x 80 mm and weighs 2000 g; small enough to fit into anyone’s rescue kit.
