We are the exclusive UK distributor for La Sportiva, sharing a passion for repair, lengthening a products lifespan and preserving performance, as well as limiting the environmental impact of the business.
We are seeking to appoint a full time La Sportiva Repair Technician for our new purpose-built La Sportiva Repair Centre, based at our offices in Tebay, Cumbria
Experience in footwear repair would be ideal but is not essential as full training will be provided, initially by the La Sportiva team at their facility in the Italian Dolomites.

Key responsibilities
- Carry out product repairs to a high quality and in a timely manner
- Develop technical product knowledge as necessary
- Ensure accurate stock of component parts
- Assist with the smooth running of the repair centre
- Support our network of La Sportiva authorised resole partners
- Working closely with our Customer Services team helping to provide repair quotes
Hours of work
This is a full-time position which equates to a 37.5-hour week. Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:30 to 14:00.
What we need from you
- Experience in footwear repair (desirable)
- Practical hands-on experience with hand tools and machinery (desirable)
- Have good computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems
- Be organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be self-motivated and also happy to work as a team member
- Be willing to undertake personal training and development
- Be enthusiastic, with a ‘can do’ attitude; a sense of humour would also be good!
