The entire manufacturing process of slings, lanyards and anchor strops is carried out at Tebay in our purpose built manufacturing facility.
To sew one sling takes our machines just 45 seconds, but there is a lot more to it than that. Each sling is the end result of a number of processes where the human element is essential to produce a quality product that a user will ultimately trust with their life. Material selection, accurate cutting and finishing, stitch pattern selection, thread tension – all these elements have to come together and the right decisions made time after time. Our sewing team have years of experience behind them to ensure that every process is carried out with accuracy and care.
We make personal fall protection webbing anchor slings suitable for work and leisure purposes in a range of materials, lengths and widths and conforming to the relevant E.N. standards:
-15mm Dyneema slings – EN 566:2006

Wire Anchor Strops
Every one of our personal fall protection wire anchor strops is hand made and finished. It takes time but we think it's worth it to get the best product for our customers. You will notice that on every swage we produce there is the absolute minimum of wire tail sticking out, but never a swage where the wire is inset. That's perfect positioning, done by hand, to reduce the chance of snagging in use and to give a visual indicator if the strop is overloaded in use. That's the attention to detail you get with a Lyon product.
