Work at Height Rescue for Riggers and Stage Workers
Duration - 2 Days :: Course Cost - £360 plus VAT
The course is designed to provide candidates with the skills necessary to undertake rescue from height of an incapacitated or injured colleague in an entertainment industry setting such as theatres, film sets, concert halls or similar environments.
The course is centred around the use of the Lyon Synergy™ Pick Off Rescue Kit which is used to conduct scenario-based rescues in a variety of simulated situations.
Scenarios covered during the course include:
-Rescue from energy absorbing lanyards.
-Rescue from work-positioning lanyards when either in a standing position against a structure or in suspension.
-Rescue from a mobile fall arrest device when using a vertical flexible anchorage line.
Course candidates are provided with a broad understanding of the uses and limitations of the equipment and the working techniques involved. Once the basics are covered, training will progress to realistic scenario-based ‘incidents’ within our purpose built training area.
Following assessment, successful candidates will receive a Lyon Equipment certificate and an ID card record of training, valid for three years.
